Report on the Okinawa Showcase

The Okinawa Showcase pavilion officially started operations on July 19th at the International Media Center (IMC), Forest of the 21st Century Park. As early as 9 a.m. on the opening day, media representatives started trooping to the IMC and headed for the Okinawa Showcase booth to pick up the press kits which have been prepared especially for them.
In addition to the Showcase pavilion , in the Press Conference and Working Center, Okinawa Prefecture , the Japanese government, Fukuoka Prefecture, Miyazaki Prefecture, and Nago City have also set up their own information booths at the IMC. For the duration of the Summit, Okinawa Prefecture will provide information on Okinawa as well as on-going press tours for the media.
