[How the Prefecture prepared for the Summit]

The Okinawa G8 Summit Host Preparation Council published "The Summit Tsushin (Summit News)" which was distributed to local residents and other people involved in the Summit. The first issue was published in December 1999 and the last issue came out in June, 2000. Together with the official web site and other summit-related web sites, the information in the publication helped make the Summit a success.
