IDB-IIC Annual Meeting 2005, Okinawa, Japan
Once again, new winds have started to blow towards Okinawa,the winds of
an international conference. Coming toward Okinawa is the Annual Meeting
of the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank and of
the Inter-American Investment Corporation, known in short as IDB.
The IDB group is the principal multilateral financing source for social
and economical development projects geared towards Latin America and the
Caribbean.
In April of next year, with the convention center as its center, 5,000
people from 46 countries will gather in Okinawa, amongst which will be
government delegation members and representatives of private financial
institutions.
